Making Cognitive Mapping Research FAIR

Cognitive Mapping is a powerful and versatile research technique that is used to research the belief system of citizens and policy makers with regards to policy making and political events. It analyses texts and transforms the contents into a semantic network that represents the beliefs of individuals or groups of people. The network representation of the beliefs allows graph theory to be used for powerful quantitative and qualitative analysis. CognitiveMapr aims to present social scientists and policy researchers with software that allows the use of Cognitive Mapping without requiring much technical knowledge and programming skills. Built as a lightweight web-application, the software can run on any modern browser without having to download or install anything.
