Charge Kennis Platform

This report presents the development of a knowledge sharing platform for Research Platform Charge, the science platform of Volt Netherlands. The system replaces their current Google Drive setup with an advanced application, featuring document storage, data relations, and AI-powered search. The application is built using a Next.js frontend, ASP.NET Core backend, PostgreSQL database, Azure Cloud Storage, and a Large Language Model, together with a Qdrant vector database for enhanced search capabilities. Key features include data relations, a chatbot interface, AI-powered search, user authentication, and project management. Our open-source solution enables all sister organizations of Research Platform Charge to deploy their own instances, supporting Volt’s collaboration mission across Europe.
